Asian restaurant Jing Yan will close permanently Saturday, according to its social media announcement.
“Thank you for the past six years and the countless memories,” an instagram post from owners Britt Langford and Leo Zhang reads in part. “We appreciate everyone that has walked through our door since day one. To the team through the years: thank you, thank you, thank you for giving this tiny restaurant such a big soul.”
The post notes that their sister operation, the Congress Street bar Low Key, will remain open.
In his four-star review from 2022, former Press Herald restaurant critic Andrew Ross called Jing Yan “a tightly conceived restaurant that unites comforting flavors and rock-solid technique.”
