Everything is ramping up, from traffic, to activities, to hopefully cash register rings at our stores and restaurants (or maybe it’s blips from the Square terminal). One of my favorite things to feature annually are our incredible outdoor concerts, and those started this week! Here is a rundown of the outdoor concerts you need to know about: **Main Street Bath Gazebo Concert Series, Tuesdays and Fridays, Library Park at 6:30 p.m. **The Tuesday gazebo concerts started on June 16, and the Friday series kicked off on June 19, and will go steady through early September.  This series is organized by Main Street Bath, and both the Tuesday and Friday concerts are right in the Library Park Gazebo (near the Patten Free Library). Tuesdays are all about the Bath Municipal Swing Band while the Fridays feature the Bath Municipal Concert Band for six of the Fridays, and the welcome acts such as Pejepscot Station, Maine Pops, and Gary Smith Sings Duke Ellington, among others, on the other Fridays. For more information, check out VisitBath.com/summer-concert-series. **Music on the Mall, Wednesdays, Brunswick Mall at 6 p.m.** The legendary gazebo on Brunswick Mall is getting filled with entertainment every Wednesday night, as hundreds of patrons bring blankets and folding chairs to experience free, live entertainment. The Brunswick Downtown Association has been running these events for years and they are genuinely beloved. June 26 the series kicked off with over 400 attendees, who were surprised by free pizza from Brickyard Hollow (they will be there every Wednesday except for July 1 and Aug 12), and music from Cilantro. All concerts start at 6 p.m. except for the Maine State Music Theatre showcase on July 22 which begins at 5 p.m. due to their performers having a show time later that night. Performers this year include: Jimmy Jo and the Jumbol’Ayuhs, Breaking Strings, and Tiger Bomb to name just a few.  For the full details, check out BrunswickDowntown.org. **Bandstand by The Sea, Thursdays, Mitchell Field, Harpswell at 6 p.m. **The Harpswell Concert Band launches the series on June 25 at George Mitchell Field and will close the series on Sept. 3. In between lots of exciting acts will help you groove to their sounds as the waves slap the shore, and the summer winds come in off the water. You will see The Resonauts, the Delta Knights, and the Portland Jazz Orchestra, just to name a few. For a full list of performers, check out [Harpswell.Maine.Gov/Bandstand](http://harpswell.maine.gov/Bandstand). **Alive on the Common, Thursdays, Wiscasset Town Common at 6 p.m. **Wiscasset has a seven-week series running from July through mid-August on the town commons beginning at 6 p.m. Their lineup features an eclectic group that ranges from blues from Cryin’ Out Loud, to ’80s music from Deadly Desire to soulful rock like Papa Tim & the Whiskey Throttle Band.  FMI check out the Wiscasset Chamber of Commerce page at WiscassetChamber.com Advertisement **Leavitt AMP Bath Waterfront Music Series, Saturdays, Waterfront Park, Bath **The Levitt AMP Bath Waterfront Music Series (the new name for our Summer Waterfront Concerts) is presented in partnership by the Chocolate Church Arts Center, Main Street Bath, and City of Bath. The majority of musical artists are booked by the Chocolate Church Arts Center, who bring great local art to life. The Levitt AMP Bath Waterfront Music Series is supported in part by the Levitt Family Foundation, which partners with changemakers and nonprofits to strengthen the social fabric of communities in America through free, live music in outdoor public spaces. Presenting high-caliber talent and a broad array of music genres and cultural programming, Levitt concerts are welcoming, inclusive destinations where people of all ages and backgrounds come together. In 2026, the Levitt Family Foundation is supporting over 900 free concerts in 90-plus towns and cities across the country, bringing joy to over a million people. In addition to supporting free concerts, the Foundation is dedicated to advancing vibrant music ecosystems through partnerships, field-building initiatives, and research. Get the full lineup of concerts and times by exploring [levitt.org](http://levitt.org/) or there is a link at VisitBath.com. **Sunday Summer Concert Series, Mailly Waterfront Park, Bowdoinham, 6 p.m. **Our sixth day of live entertainment in our region is in Bowdoinham as they bring back their Sunday concert series again this year. Acts include Red Beans & Rice, Dysfunction Junction and the Leopard Girls, and many more.
