Yarmouth elects 3 councilors, approves school budget

The councilors will serve three-year terms. Ting received 2,206 votes, Monti received 2,027 votes and 2,066 votes were cast for Casey. Daniel Landry got 1,903 votes and Chuck Thompson got 1,393 votes and were not elected. Voters ratified Yarmouth’s $44.1 million [school budget](https://www.yarmouthschools.org/page/budget), 2,336-1,702. The budget increased 4.41% from fiscal year 2026. They ran uncontested and will serve three-year terms. Steve Gorden and William Taylor were elected trustees for the Yarmouth Water District, which had two open seats. The terms are three years.
