Triple‑Mania 34 to Showcase AAA’s Depth of Talent, WWE Stars Included

A two‑night wrestling extravaganza is set to take place on Friday and Sunday in Las Vegas, with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide’s flagship event, Triple‑Mania 34, drawing fans from the U.S. and abroad. The show will feature the full AAA roster, interspersed with a handful of WWE talent, according to WWE commentator Corey Graves, who spoke with OutKick Dropkick ahead of the event.

A mix of AAA’s mainstays and WWE guests

In addition to the core AAA competitors, the card will include WWE personalities such as Dominik Mysterio, Rey Mysterio, Nattie and Roxanne Perez. The inclusion of these stars is part of AAA’s ongoing partnership with WWE’s “Worlds Collide” series, which has helped raise the profile of several AAA wrestlers outside of Mexico.

Highlights on the card

Latin American Championship

La Parka will defend the AAA Latin American Championship in a triple‑way match against Laredo Kid and Mr. Iguana. Graves noted La Parka’s experience, pointing out that he has also competed in a tournament to determine Roman Reigns’ challenger for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. “La Parka is another one,” Graves said. “El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. I think is going to be a major player in years to come. He's still young, still kind of figuring things out, getting experience under his belt. There are so many.”

Cruiserweight Championship

The Cruiserweight Championship will be contested in a fatal‑four‑way match on Sunday. The champion will be either Rey Fenix or Ricky Saints, and will face Mini Vikingo, Jack Cartwheel and Nathan Frazer. Graves expressed particular excitement about the matchup. “Jack Cartwheel is a guy that has just absolutely set the world on fire,” he said. “The athleticism is completely off the charts with all these guys. And there's a chance in Mexico that the fans — like they say, ‘Esto es lucha,’ ‘This is wrestling,’ which is akin to the American or English speaking crowd saying, ‘this is awesome.’ It's just the appreciation. And every time the cruiserweights are in the ring, it's unbelievable … but that one's going to leave jaws on the floor. I promise you that.”

The appeal of Mr. Iguana

Graves also highlighted Mr. Iguana, a smaller‑than‑average competitor known for his agility and jiu‑jitsu skills. He added that the wrestler’s green paint job and stuffed‑iguana sidekick give him a “circus meets sports‑entertainment” vibe that has drawn fans both inside and outside the wrestling community. “If you're not familiar, he is not a physically large competitor. He's an incredible athlete. He's a really dangerous jiu‑jitsu master… He always increases his popularity pretty much every time you see him,” Graves said.

Fans to look forward to a diverse show

Graves emphasized that AAA offers something for everyone, whether fans are watching from Las Vegas, Mexico City or from home. “It's interesting to me because I look at it a little differently because I look at it from within the wrestling bubble and it's often that I'm pleasantly surprised by what captures people's imaginations that aren't hardcore wrestling people,” he said.

Triple‑Mania 34 promises a blend of high‑octane athleticism, colorful personalities and championship stakes that should keep both die‑hard wrestling fans and casual viewers entertained over its two‑night run.
