Greely Rangers topple Hermon Hawks, 28‑14, in Week 7 showdown

Greely, ME – In a high‑scoring battle on Friday night, the Greely Rangers secured a decisive 28‑to‑14 victory over the previously unbeaten Hermon Hawks. The win was highlighted by senior Jackson Justice, who played at every position on the field and was the driving force behind the Rangers’ offense and defense.

Justice recorded two sacks and a tackle for loss, helping the Rangers’ defense limit the Hawks to just 136 total yards. On offense, he rushed for a touchdown and caught three passes for 70 yards, including a 37‑yard reception that set up the final score. The combined efforts of Justice and teammate Rocky Axelsen provided the momentum the Rangers needed to secure the win.

The victory snapped Hermon’s winning streak and gave Greely a much‑needed confidence boost as the season progresses. “We felt we were in the right place at the right time,” said Greely head coach Mark Whitaker after the game. “The defense made the stops, and Justice was a monster all night.”
