Susan Collins’ corruption is the real story | Letter

Sen. Susan Collins has supported, and will continue to support, the most corrupt president in our country’s history. President Donald Trump has made billions (!) of dollars in just his first year back in office, much of it from shady cryptocurrency deals with foreign governments. No other president has ever used their office to enrich themselves to anywhere near this extent.

Trump is working hard to normalize massive corruption in office, and Sen. Collins and her Republican Party barely utter even her usual expressions of concern. They effectively condone it. And why don’t we see more coverage of Collins’ lobbyist husband and her self-dealing?
