Street fight between two large and in charge ladies leaves one bleeding from the face after being kicked
Video of West Hollywood Brawl Between Two Women Goes Viral; One Left Bloodied
WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — A violent street fight between two women on a crowded sidewalk here early Saturday morning left one of them with a bloodied face and has since been viewed tens of thousands of times on social media.
The incident, which unfolded around 2 a.m., was captured on multiple cell‑phone videos. The footage shows the two women exchanging punches, grabbing each other’s hair and, in a final flurry, one of them being thrown to the concrete before being kicked while on the ground.
According to a musician who recorded part of the confrontation, onlookers had attempted to break up the fight twice before deciding to step aside. “Witnesses had gotten tired of separating them and let them go at it,” Tyler Garrett told a local news outlet.
The videos reveal that after the first two interventions, the crowd allowed the pair to continue. In the third and decisive round, the woman who was barefoot executed a sudden hip‑drop, seized her opponent’s hair and hurled her onto the pavement. The barefoot woman then landed several punches, dodged a desperate kick and, using her bare foot, delivered a pair of kicks to the face of the downed woman.
The encounter ended with the injured woman rising unsteadily, blood visible on her face, while the other walked away. The confrontation lasted only a few minutes, but the damage was enough to leave one participant requiring medical attention for facial wounds.
Authorities have not yet released any information about arrests or charges. The Los Angeles Police Department said it is aware of the incident and is reviewing the video, but no official comment was provided as of Monday.
Local residents and social‑media commentators have speculated that the fight may stem from a dispute between hot‑dog vendors over market territory. The area, known for its lively nightlife, has seen occasional disputes among street vendors, though officials have not confirmed a direct link.
The viral clips have sparked a wide range of reactions online, with some praising the spectacle and others condemning the violence. City officials are urging anyone with additional footage or information to contact the police.
