Negative ads on TV and mailings are wasting money and spreading rumors.

Regarding Troy Jackson and allegations of intimidation of women: In an incident between Troy Jackson, at age 19, and Lana, his partner of about 40 years, Lana has strongly said Troy was not violent toward her.

Regarding Jackson’s desire to raise taxes on Social Security, he does, but not for ordinary people. Jackson wants the wealthy to pay their fair share into Social Security. This year, according to U.S. News and World Report, only income up to $184,500 is subject to Social Security payroll taxes. If this cap goes away, like Jackson wants it to, we could save the program for those with less.

About “Oh, shut up.” Jackson said this during the fourth debate in an “Oh, come on,” tone. It did not sound harsh — like Susan Collins’ inappropriate comment about the heckler.
