Sea Dogs trounced by Rumble Ponies

Corey Collins drove in four runs, and Marco Vargas and Jefferson Rojas each had three hits and three RBI for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in a 16-4 rout Tuesday against the Portland Sea Dogs in an Eastern League game at Hadlock Field in Portland.
Rojas homered in the first inning against Sea Dogs starting pitcher Dalton Rogers. The Rumble Ponies added four runs in the second, two in the fourth and seven in the sixth. Collins capped the sixth-inning outburst with a three-run homer off Cooper Adams.
Nate Baez and Brooks Brannon both drove in two runs for the Sea Dogs. Brannon hit his 19th home run of the season in the eighth inning.
