Ronald Rosario, Tyler McDonough and Brooks Brannon each belted a two-run homer Friday night, leading the Portland Sea Dogs to a 9-3 win over the Richmond Flying Squirrels in an Eastern League game in Richmond, Virginia.
Rosario homered in the first inning to make it 3-0, following a leadoff double by McDonough and an RBI single by Justin Gonzales.
McDonough connected in the second inning with a blast down the left-field line that was ruled a fair ball. In the sixth, Brannon clubbed his 20th home run of the season, clearing the wall in center field.
Will Turner added a two-run double in the ninth.
Devin Futrell earned the win, allowing two runs on four hits through six innings. He struck out seven and walked one.
