Portland Sea Dogs pitcher Blake Wehunt was named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week for the second straight week on Monday.
Wehunt held the Altoona Curve to one hit in five scoreless innings on Sunday in Portland’s 10-0 win. He struck out nine and walked four
Wehunt has pitched 11 consecutive innings in his last two outings, allowing two hits and striking out 17.
He is 4-4 with a 3.38 ERA this season.
