Sea Dogs fall to Fisher Cats in series finale

Eddie Micheletti Jr. and Adam Hackenberg homered as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats defeated the Portland Sea Dogs 10-3 in the teams’ series finale Sunday in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Micheletti hit his 13th homer of the season, a two-run blast, in the first inning off Sea Dogs starter Hayden Mullins, and Hackenberg hit a solo shot off reliever Max Carlson in the third. Jackson Hornung added two hits for New Hampshire (44-41).
Fisher Cats starter Mason Olson allowed five hits and one earned run in four innings, striking out four and walking no one.
Nelly Taylor and Ronald Rosario homered for Portland (46-40). Taylor had three hits and finished a triple shy of the cycle.
The Sea Dogs are off until Friday, when the Somerset Patriots come to Hadlock Field for a three-game series.
