Brooks Brannon was 3 for 5 with two RBI and the Portland Sea Dogs scored four times in the third inning on their way to a 9-3 win over the Altoona Curve in an Eastern League game on Friday at Hadlock Field in Portland.

Johanfran Garcia hit a two-run double and Ronald Rosario a two-run single in the third to give Portland the lead. Ahbram Liendo added an RBI single and Caden Rose scored on a wild pitch in the fifth.

Matt Frazier scored on a wild pitch and Brannon hit a two-run double in the seventh to give Portland a seven-run lead.

Franklin Arias, the Boston Red Sox No. 1 prospect, was 2 for 3 for Portland with two walks and two runs scored.

John Holobetz earned the win, allowing two runs on four hits, while striking out seven and walking one.
