Cortland Lawson was 4 for 6 with two doubles, Sam Petersen drove in three runs and Sam Brown hit a two-run homer as the Harrisburg Senators earned a 9-6 win over the Portland Sea Dogs in an Eastern League game Friday night at Hadlock Field.

Harrisburg exploited Portland’s bullpen after starting pitcher Anthony Eyanson struck out 10 over 4 2/3 innings. Eyanson left with a 2-1 lead after a two-out double by Lawson in the fifth, but Jeremy Wu-Yelland allowed an RBI single by Kervin Pichardo, then gave up two more runs in the sixth.

After the Sea Dogs tied the game in the bottom of the sixth on a two-run single by Brooks Brannon, Brown put the Senators back in front with his home run off Reidis Sena.

Portland again pulled even at 6-6 in the bottom of seventh when Will Turner belted a two-run homer — his 11th of the season. But Lawson scored the go-ahead run in the eighth on a single by Branden Boissiere, and the Senators added two runs in the ninth off position player Matt Fraizer.

Eyanson allowed four hits and two walks and was charged with two runs. It’s just the third time in 16 professional games that he gave up more than one run.
