Rosemont Market & Bakery in Yarmouth will relocate across the street

Rosemont Market & Bakery Relocates Yarmouth Location to 108 Main Street

After nearly two decades at its long-standing address on Main Street, Rosemont Market & Bakery is preparing to relocate its Yarmouth storefront to a new site just across the street. The bakery and grocery chain plans to move from 96 Main St. to 108 Main St., a change designed to offer the business additional retail space and on-site parking.

The expansion comes as part of a broader evolution for the company, which operates six locations throughout the greater Portland area. According to a press release issued Thursday, the move provides the necessary room to grow while maintaining a deep commitment to the surrounding neighborhood community.

"When 108 Main Street became available, it felt like the best of both worlds; room to grow without leaving the neighborhood community we’re deeply committed to," said Mark Law, CEO of Rosemont Market & Bakery. He noted that the new arrangement strikes an ideal balance for the business, describing the move as "as convenient and ideal as a move can get."

Despite the physical relocation, the current Yarmouth location at 96 Main St. will remain open throughout the transition. The existing store continues to operate daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until the new facility opens.

This move marks the first adjustment to the company’s market roster since the closure of its Munjoy Hill location last year. While specific details regarding the grand opening date of the new location are still pending, the company has indicated that further information will be shared via its official website and social media channels in the coming weeks.
