Police searching for missing York County woman

Police on Saturday were trying to locate a York County woman who has been missing from her home for two days.
According to a news release from the York County Sheriff’s office, Shannon Seebek is a 42-year-old white female with brown hair and hazel eyes. She is 5’3″ and police say she drives a white 2016 Subaru Outback station wagon with a Maine license plate number 116-KQV.
Police say they want to check on Seebek’s well-being. Last known possible locations were near the Biddeford Pool neighborhood, the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge in Wells, or by the Franciscan Monastery, the Mousam River, Parsons Beach Rd. or Route 9 in Kennebunk, according to the news release.
The Maine Warden Service was assisting in the search for Seebek, along with the police departments in Wells, Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Biddeford.
People who see Seebek or her vehicle should call 911 or the local police department.
