Platner campaign was sabotaged by his own | Letter

There is an unprintable word for what the Maine Democratic Party apparatus, and its junior-league outriders in the Democratic Socialists of America, did to their Senate candidate, Graham Platner. It contains the name of a rodent and a verb you can’t say on the radio.
I’m sure Troy Jackson — DSA’s under-the-radar, last-minute sub — is a fine guy, but I will not be voting for him. I will write in Graham Platner, and I urge others to do likewise.
The Maine Democratic Party machine, and Mini-Me DSA, have made it clear that they would rather lose with somebody else than win with Platner. The reason can be stated in two words: donor class.
So if they do lose, and I rather hope they will, it’s no less than they deserve for their dirty, anti-democratic backroom skulduggery and guttercreep campaign of character assassination.
