Part of Brook Road in Falmouth closed due to storm damage, Westbrook police say

Police have announced that a road currently closed to traffic will need six to eight hours of work before it can be reopened.

The department’s spokesperson said the roadway remains shut while crews complete the necessary repairs, and the estimated timeframe for restoration has been set at six to eight hours.

The prolonged closure continues to affect local traffic patterns, prompting motorists to seek alternate routes and plan their journeys accordingly.

Authorities have indicated that they will provide further updates as the work progresses and the road is brought back into service.
