Robert "Bob" "Butch" Tracy Sr., 78, of Old Orchard Beach

OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Robert "Bob" "Butch" Tracy Sr., a longtime resident of Old Orchard Beach, died on June 16, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was 78.

Born in Portland on Dec. 14, 1947, Bob was the eldest of 12 children of Leland and Barbara M. Tracy. He grew up in Portland, attending local schools, and went on to serve in the U.S. Coast Guard.

For many years, Bob worked as a carpenter and home builder before retiring.

He was predeceased by his parents; his son, Robert "Robbie" Jr.; his sister, Bunny Hutchins; and his brother, Dick Tracy.

Bob is survived by his wife, Linda Tracy of Old Orchard Beach; his children, Kevin Tracy of Saco, Todd Tracy and his wife Tammy of Hiram, Tamara Tracy of Sebago, and Stephen Tracy of Portland; a stepdaughter, Julie Conrad of Quincy, Mass.; and his siblings, Barbara Cutler and her husband Douglas, Sharon Heath and her husband Sonny, Karen Rutter, Esther Tracy, Gayle Bolles, Chet Tracy and his wife Pam, Danny Desrochers and his wife Cindy, Louie Tracy and his wife Barbara, and Joey Tracy and his wife Pam. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
