Michael Thomas Hansen

LEWISTON – Michael Thomas Hansen of Auburn, is now rejoicing in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. He passed from this earth on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026, in the presence of immediate family and close friends singing hymns and praising songs at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Hansen; his children, John Hansen, Amelia (Ian) Pullen and Laura (Ethan) Foss; his adopted grandchildren, Ryleigh and Lyla Hansen and his grandchildren, Aliza, Wilhelmina and Ozro Pullen, Elodie, Grant and Maisie Foss; and three siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Jacqueline Hansen. He will be fondly remembered for his passion for the Lord Jesus and his love for others.

Funeral services honoring Michael’s life will be celebrated on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026, at 3 p.m., at East Auburn Baptist Church, 560 Park Avenue in Auburn. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026, from 2-3 p.m., prior to the service at East Auburn Baptist Church. Burial will be private.
