Obituary: Michael Estes

HARPSWELL – Michael Estes of South Harpswell passed away peacefully on June 16 2026.

Michael was a longtime teacher and principal who loved his work with children from teaching to producing plays that the students, as adults today, still remember those performances fondly.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Diana Estes; and two brothers, Lewis Jr. and Gard Estes.

He will be missed by many from Harpswell to Brunswick and points in between.

Michael leaves behind a sister, Deborah Corrao of Harpswell and Diana Pomerleau of Brunswick, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In granting his wishes, no funeral services will take place.
