Michael Dobson

LEWISTON – Michael Dobson of New Gloucester passed away on Aug. 21, 2026, at the age of 69. He was born on May 29, 1957, to Geneva “Baker” Dobson and Clinton Dobson and grew up on Royal Road in North Yarmouth.

Michael was a beloved son, brother, dad, grampa, great-bumpa, and everyone’s favorite uncle.

For many years, he worked as a self-employed carpenter and took great pride in his craftsmanship. He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and cherished the time he shared with family and friends.

Michael was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Christy.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at a later date.
