Maine Community Mourns Former Master Chief Petty Officer Harmon Maddocks

Boothbay Harbor, Aug. 31, 2026 – Harmon Roscoe Maddocks II, 87, a longtime resident of Scarbrough and a retired Master Chief Petty Officer, died on Wednesday. A memorial celebration will take place in Boothbay Harbor on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. with a boat parade that will pass the footbridge and the Boothbay Harbor Inn. After the parade, friends and family are invited to a celebration of life at the inn from noon to 4 p.m.
