After retiring to Wells in 2005, Peg once again became deeply involved in her community. She was active with the Wells Ogunquit Senior Center and generously shared her time and talents as a volunteer, presenting programs and workshops at schools, retirement homes, and community organizations. Peg had a lifelong love of learning, history, teaching, and travel. She visited all 50 states and enjoyed crafts, puzzles, and the many friendships she formed throughout the different chapters of her life. Above all, Peg will be remembered for her curiosity, devotion to education, community spirit, and love for her family.
