BRUNSWICK – Judith “Judy” Davis, 75, of Topsham, Maine, passed away surrounded by her family on August 15, 2026, at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.
Judy was born on July 18, 1951, in Brunswick, Maine. Judy was the daughter of Stan and Ginny Davis. She grew up in Freeport and was a graduate of Freeport High School, Class of 1969.
Judy was proud of her many years working in the banking and credit union industry and took great pride in the career she built. She was also a devoted animal lover. Throughout her life, she shared her home with many beloved cats and her cherished dog, Abby.
Above all, family was very important to Judy. She treasured family gatherings and outings and loved spending time with those closest to her. One of her favorite family gatherings was her annual Sistahs’ Christmas Party that she hosted.
She is survived by her four sisters, Dorothy Carrier of Harpswell, Roxie Farley and her husband Ken of Freeport, Sandy Rowe and her husband Dave of Freeport, and Bonnie Davis of Pownal. She is also survived by her goddaughter, Cory Daly Schmidt; as well as several nieces and nephews whom she loved as if they were her own children.
After retirement, Judy and Cory shared a very special adventure when they traveled together to South Africa. It was a trip of a lifetime, filled with unforgettable experiences, including seeing the incredible wildlife and going on safaris. The memories they made together were a cherished part of Judy’s later years.
Judy will be remembered for her love of family, her pride in her career, her deep affection for animals, and the special place she held in the lives of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. at 105 Hunter Road, Freeport, Maine.
