Jeffrey Alan Walton, 75, Passes Away in Presque Isle

Presque Isle, Maine – Jeffrey Alan Walton, 75, of Presque Isle, died peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, after a brief illness at a local hospital. Walton was born on May 4, 1951, in Presque Isle to Merle Walton and Irma (Higgins) Allen. He was survived by his wife, the late Linda (Thorne) Walton, and a host of family and friends.

Walton’s funeral arrangements are being handled by Duncan‑Graves Funeral Home, located at 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Family members and friends are invited to attend a brief time of remembrance and reflection on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, at 5:45 p.m. The service will take place at the Duncan‑Graves Funeral Home, followed immediately by a reception in the funeral home’s reception room. A private committal ceremony will be held later at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.

In lieu of flowers, mourners are encouraged to make donations in Walton’s memory to either the Aroostook House of Comfort (P.O. Box 867, Presque Isle, ME 04769) or the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter (383 U.S. Route One, Suite 2C, Scarborough, ME 04074).
