Dorothy Esther (Roderick) Vachon, West Bath Resident, Dies at Home
Dorothy Esther (Roderick) Vachon, a long‑time resident of West Bath, Maine, passed away at her home on May 14, 2026. Born at home in the town, Ms. Vachon spent her life in the community that has been her home for many decades.
The loss is felt by neighbors and friends who recall Ms. Vachon’s presence in the quiet streets of West Bath. Her passing marks the end of a life lived entirely in this small coastal town. The community mourns the loss of a familiar figure whose life began and ended in the same place.
