Dennis L. Belanger Sr., 80, Dies; Funeral Services to Honor Long‑Serving Community Member

Dennis L. Belanger Sr., an 80‑year‑old resident of Bath, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026. The Belanger family will hold a series of services to commemorate his life and service to the community.

The Daigle Funeral Home, located at 819 High Street, will welcome visitors during two daily blocks on Sunday: from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A memorial service featuring Fireman Honors is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, at 2 p.m. at the same funeral home. In addition, a combined Elks and American Legion service will be held on Friday, October 16, at Daigle.

After the memorial, Mr. Belanger will be interred at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath with full military honors. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Bath Lodge of Elks.
