Obituary: Daniel B. Clark Jr
YARMOUTH — Daniel B. Clark Jr., an 81‑year‑old resident of Yarmouth, passed away on May 30, 2026, at the Maine Veterans’ Home in Scarborough. Clark, who had been receiving care at the state‑run facility, died peacefully with his family at his side.
Born in Manhattan, N.Y., on Dec. 9, 1945, Clark was the son of Daniel B. Clark Sr. and Jane (Spencer) Clark. He grew up in New York before eventually settling in Maine, where he became a well‑known member of the Yarmouth community.
Clark is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Carole Thompson Clark. Together they raised two children, Rebekah DiRobbio (married to Greg) and Jonathan Clark (married to Jaime). The family grew to include six grandchildren, whose names and ages were not released.
In addition to his immediate family, Clark is remembered by his brother, John Clark, who lives in San Francisco.
