Carol (Bullerwell) Rickett

WINDHAM – Carol Bullerwell Rickett, 74, of Windham, died on Aug. 27, 2026 at Maine Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born July 2, 1952, the daughter of the late Robert Bullerwell and Marilyn Mayberry.

Carol married the love of her life and soulmate, Richard Rickett, and they shared 55 years of marriage. She was a proud Navy wife, she worked as a CNA while raising their two children.

Carol adored her family deeply, and that love was returned in full measure. Her charismatic personality brought love and laughter into everyone’s lives. Family and friends will especially treasure the happy times spent with her—the shared visits, her endless funny stories, and her warm, unmistakable laugh. She cherished many years with her four grandchildren and adored her great-grandchild, Emery, while eagerly looking forward to two more on the way, Caroline Louise and Harrison George.

In addition to her husband, Richard Rickett of Windham, she is survived by her sister, Linda Pease and husband Kurt, brother, Dwayne Bullerwell and wife Michelle; children Jennifer Manoogian and husband Rich, son Jason Rickett and partner Angela Smith; her grandchildren, Chance Manoogian, Paige Manoogian, Taylor Rickett, Amber Merkle and Ashlyn Lowe; great-grandchild, Emery; and many caring nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Robert Bullerwell, her mother, Marilyn Mayberry; her brother, Wayne Bullerwell, brother-in-law, David Rickett, sister-in-law, Sandra Rickett; and nephews Ryan Wilson and Korey Rickett.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to nieces Amanda and Amy, granddaughter, Taylor, and sister-in-law, Debbie, whose care and support allowed Carol to remain in her home as she wished; to the many neighbors and friends who provided meals and visits; and to Weny at CoCo Nails for going above and beyond for Carol.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m., at 14 Breezy Meadow Lane, Gorham. All are welcome to join in celebrating with fond memories of Carol.
