Betty Ann Wilmot

LAKEWOOD, N.J. – Betty A. Wilmot, 78, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, following a brief illness at Concord Healthcare. Betty was born on June 3, 1948, in Portland, daughter of Marion (Anna) L. Aceto and Arthur L. Wilmot.

Betty graduated from Westbrook High School in 1966 and earned an associate degree in Sociology. She had a huge thirst for knowledge, always reading, studying and learning something new. Betty worked as an EMT, physician’s assistant, nanny and care giver. Recently she was a care giver for a disabled adult male. She loved to bake. Everyone said her apple pie recipe was like no other and her biscottini recipe is a family favorite.

Betty was predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley R. LeGrow of Westbrook; and several first and second cousins.

The family would like to thank the care team at Concord Healthcare for their wonderful care and kindness toward Betty.

There will be a private service at Calvary Cemetery in South Portland at a later time.
