Northbound lanes on I-95 near Carmel reopened after 2 crashes

A crash on Saturday afternoon on Interstate I-95 north near the Carmel exit shut down a portion of the highway for more than two hours as authorities responded to the scene.
The crash involved what appeared to be a truck and camper catching fire.
A secondary crash led police to move the closure back from mile marker 173 to 167.
Maine State Police said in a social media post that as of 5 p.m., all lanes on the interstate had reopened.
Police did not immediately provide information about the involved vehicles and whether there were any injuries.
