The NHL's St. Louis Blues have released a statement after fans at a recent game were seen holding up several antisemitic banners during an in-game protest.

Last Thursday's game was between the Blues and the visiting Vegas Golden Knights at the Enterprise Center.

During the game, several protesters in the stands unfurled banners with anti-Israel messages on them.

Some of these banners read "Free America from Israel" and "Israel kills," among other things.

On Monday, the team's chairman Tom Stillman released a statement on the club's social media accounts condemning the protests.

"The St. Louis organization — and I personally — condemn antisemitic rhetoric in all forms," a statement from chairman Tom Stillman said. "The vile messages of hate briefly displayed at our game last Thursday were unfortunate and unforgivable, and not remotely representative of our fans or our hometown.

"Antisemitism has no place in our community, and we will never allow it in our building."

The protest was organized by a group called the 2026 Freedom Convoy, which, according to their website, is a "grassroots, cross-country journey bringing Americans together to learn, connect, and have honest conversations about Israel and Zionist influence in the US."

The protest took attention away from what was one of the Blues' better games of the young NHL season to date.

They defeated the Golden Knights — who are currently second in the Pacific Division — by a score of 6-2.

As for the Blues, they followed that win up with a 4-0 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes and are 5-5-1 on the year and in sixth place in the Central Division.
