Eli Lev, a folk pop songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Silver Spring, Maryland, is coming to Brunswick on Saturday, Aug. 22, to perform at Social Goose at 94 Maine St. starting at 2 p.m.
Lev is a singer-songwriter who is inspired by shared humanity and his time teaching on the Navajo Nation in Arizona. His experience there inspired his Four Directions Project, which has since expanded into the Three Worlds Project: a trilogy exploring the coexistence of past, present, and future.
His latest album, “Past Lives,” weaves ancestral memory into songs featuring archival family recordings. The project reached No. 2 on the Folk Alliance International charts and won three 2026 WAMMIE Awards, including Best Folk Album. A blend of the storytelling of The Avett Brothers and the energy of The Lumineers, Lev has performed at The Kennedy Center and the 9:30 Club.
