Jacob McCurdy and His Large Adult Sons to perform on the Rockland library lawn
Come see mustachioed Mainer Jacob McCurdy blend folk, rock and roots into his very own brand of indie-Americana at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 30, in a lawn concert at Rockland Public Library.

McCurdy wears his heart on his sleeve, captivating audiences with honest lyricism and soulful melodies. Through collaborative songwriting and a commitment to authenticity, he shares his songs with the hope that others can heal from his experiences and enjoy a glimpse of what the future might bring.
Currently, His Large Adult Sons are:
• Alex Calabrese (Old Tom & The Lookouts) on bass/vocals. Calabrese has writing and production credits on almost every song that McCurdy has written since 2020.
• Jonathan Clement on drums/vocals. Clement helped McCurdy rewrite “To Be Found” and also plays drums and sings as a fellow dapper gent in The Dapper Gents.
• Mike Maurice on keys/vocals. Maurice has his own music and co-wrote “Trouble” with McCurdy.

• Xander Nelson on lead guitar/vocals. Nelson is known for his own original music and slays on guitar for Toby McAlister & The Sierra Sounds.
• Dylan Sorenson on saxophone. Fans will hear Sorenson all over McCurdy’s latest releases. He is the original Large Adult Son, as he came up with the name.
All ages are invited to bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs from home to the library lawn for what’s sure to be a fun evening. The rain date is Aug. 4, same time and location.
