This upcoming senatorial race should be about replacing Susan Collins.
Has she done good things for Maine? Absolutely. She’s brought a lot of money to Maine and has been very helpful to many individuals and should be commended for that work. However, her voting record has fully supported Trump policies with the exceptions of a few “token opposition votes.” Her SCOTUS votes have proven disastrous to women. How many other Mainers have been negatively affected due to her voting?
The reality is, because of age and possible health concerns, she will need to be replaced anyway.
Why wait? Why not this year? We voters will have serious choices to make in November. Listen and believe the negative ad campaigns and reelect Collins, give the new guy a chance for six years, or just don’t vote for either one — which is legal. Not telling folks how you voted is also legal.
