Isaac Atkins, a native of Lewiston, will step onto the “America’s Got Talent” stage for the first time in front of a live audience this Tuesday night as part of season 21’s live performances.
The new season of the NBC talent competition opened on August 18, with live shows scheduled every Tuesday and the results announced the following day. Atkins earned a spot in the live rounds after his audition in June earned him a Golden Buzzer from former Spice Girl Mel B, automatically advancing him to the live stage. He has confirmed that his live performance will be a blues‑rock song, although the exact timing of his act within the show has not been disclosed.
Known online as the “Singing Soldier,” Atkins gained a sizable following on TikTok, where his videos have accumulated more than 123,000 followers and 8.4 million likes since he began posting in 2024. He first caught national attention after posting a clip of himself singing “Sparks” by Coldplay at a karaoke bar in the Philippines, a video that went viral last year.
