Democrat Chellie Pingree wants a 10th term representing Maine’s 1st congressional district. Republican Ron Russell has something to say about that.

The pair are squaring off Thursday night in a debate sponsored by Maine Public, NEWSCENTER Maine and the Portland Press Herald.

The event starts at 7 p.m., will last one hour, and will be moderated by Maine Public’s Jennifer Rooks. The candidates will face questions from Maine Public’s Kevin Miller and NEWSCENTER Maine’s Phil Hirschkorn.
