Yarmouth Cruises Past Lewiston/Oak Hill 16-0 to Advance to Class A Girls Lacrosse Quarterfinals

Yarmouth's girls lacrosse team showed no mercy on Wednesday, dismantling 10th-seeded Lewiston/Oak Hill 16-0 at home to punch their ticket to the Class A quarterfinals.

The Clippers, seeded seventh and sitting at a 9-6 record, put together a dominant performance that left little doubt about who would progress to the next round. Vivienne Corriveau led the offensive assault with four goals, while Maya Nasveschuk contributed three to the cause. Kiki Tompkins and Emery Sharp each netted twice, with Tompkins also tallying two assists to help control the tempo of the game.

Lewiston/Oak Hill, which finished the season at 8-7, was unable to find the back of the net at any point during the match.

Yarmouth will now face No. 2 Thornton Academy in the quarterfinal round on Friday, looking to continue their playoff run against one of the top-seeded teams in the bracket.
