Matthew Sarapas was booked into the Cumberland County Jail on September 11 to begin a 90-day stay after pleading guilty to charges stemming from an incident in April 2024.

The booking formally implements the sentence, following Sarapas’s decision to plead guilty in connection with the earlier event. He will remain at the Cumberland County Jail for the three-month period ordered by the court.

The case originated with the April 2024 incident, which led to the charges that formed the basis of the plea. While the guilty plea has been entered, additional specifics regarding the incident or the charges were not detailed in the booking notice.

Jail staff processed the admission on the date cited, and the sentence is now in effect. No public statements or direct quotes from the proceedings were available at the time of reporting.
