San Antonio Man Arrested for DUI After Speeding Stop on I‑75

A 33‑year‑old driver from San Antonio was taken into custody for a suspected DUI after a Florida Highway Patrol trooper pulled him over for speeding on Interstate 75 near the 280‑mile marker in Pasco County.

The trooper, who was patrolling northbound, observed a Honda Civic traveling in excess of 90 mph. The vehicle was brought to a stop and the driver was identified as Conor William Parady. The trooper reported that Parady “appeared to be heavily intoxicated,” prompting a further investigation.

Inside the car, police found 34 open alcohol containers. Parady’s blood alcohol concentration was measured at 0.177, more than twice Florida’s legal limit of 0.08.

Parady was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the Pasco County Jail. He was booked into the facility; it has not yet been reported whether he retained legal counsel.

Under Florida law, a first‑time DUI conviction can carry fines, probation, community service, and a suspended driver’s license, though any penalty would depend on the outcome of future court proceedings. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
