Lewiston Police Issue Warning About Massachusetts Residents on the Move

Lewiston, Maine – Police in the city of Lewiston released a statement late this week, warning residents that two individuals from Massachusetts are now in the area and may be looking to continue a “crime spree.”

The city’s law‑enforcement officials said the men, who reportedly have a history of criminal activity in their home state, have recently arrived in Lewiston. Police officials believe the individuals are in town “to continue their crime spree,” according to the statement. The warning comes as authorities in the region monitor the movement of the suspects, who are believed to have committed offenses in Massachusetts before relocating.

The statement from the Lewiston Police Department does not provide details on the nature of the alleged crimes or the specific charges the men face. It also does not disclose whether the police have made any arrests or have identified the exact activities the men plan to pursue in Lewiston. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior to authorities.

The Department emphasized that it remains committed to keeping the community safe and said it would keep the public informed as new information becomes available. Police urged anyone with knowledge of the suspects’ whereabouts or potential criminal plans to contact the Lewiston Police Department or the local 9‑1‑1 line immediately.
