Falmouth voters approved the construction and renovation of the Central Fire Station and West Fire Station, 3,365-1,147, and authorized a $12.5 million bond for the project during Tuesday’s election.

The two fire stations, built over four decades ago, are showing signs of age and have been outgrown by the 37 full-time first responders the town employs.

Voters approved Falmouth’s $55.6 million school budget, 3,581-983. The budget increased 6.19% from fiscal year 2026.

Bryce Hach was reelected to the Falmouth Town Council and newcomer Michael Vance was elected in an uncontested race. Hach currently serves as council chair, and Vance will replace Councilor Peter LaFond. Both will serve three-year terms.

Incumbent Alicia Johnson, who currently serves as school board chair, incumbent Emily Holdtman Martin and new candidate Jared McCarthy were elected to Falmouth’s school board in an uncontested race.

Falmouth elected William M. Lunt III to represent the town on the Portland Water District’s board of trustees. Lunt ran unopposed.
