Auburn Resident Stephen T. Hughes Passes at 83
Auburn, Maine – Stephen T. Hughes, 83, a longtime resident of Auburn and New York City, died on August 17. The 83‑year‑old, who had made both Maine and New York his home, is survived by a large family.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Farm in Hallowell. Friends and family are invited to gather there for a celebration of his life and a time to share memories.
A second, more formal ceremony will take place on Saturday, Nov. 6, at 2 p.m. at St. Bartholomew’s Church in New York City, where many of his loved ones will attend to pay their respects.
