Ruth E. Bridges, a longtime resident of Scarborough, Maine, died on September 26, 2026, at the age of 81. Her death was announced by her family, who will hold a memorial service and burial in her honor.

A viewing of Ms. Bridges will take place on October 6, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Conroy‑Tully Walker Cremation, Funeral, and Gathering Center in Portland. The funeral home has welcomed the community to pay their respects.
