Auburn Resident Constance “Connie” Begin Dies at 94

Constance “Connie” Begin, a longtime Auburn resident, passed away on August 15 at the age of 94. Her family has announced a visitation and services to honor her life.

The family invites friends and neighbors to pay their respects during a private visitation that will run from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on September 17 at the Fortin & Pinette Group funeral home in Auburn. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on September 18 at the same funeral home. Following the service, Ms. Begin will be buried at St. Peter’s Cemetery, a local burial ground that has served the Auburn community for many years.

The Fortin & Pinette Group, part of the larger Fortin & Pinette Group of Maine, has been a familiar face in the region for decades. St. Peter’s Cemetery, located in Auburn, has long been the final resting place for many of the town’s families.

Friends, neighbors, and loved ones are welcome to attend the visitation and service to celebrate Ms. Begin’s life and legacy.
