Curve score 6 runs in 6th inning to beat Sea Dogs

Duce Gourson hit a grand slam in the sixth inning when the Altoona Curve scored six times on their way to a 10-3 win over the Portland Sea Dogs in an Eastern League game on Thursday at Hadlock Field in Portland.
Gourson went 3 for 4 with four RBI and two runs scored for the Curve, who have won two of the first three games in the series.
Titus Dumitru hit a solo homer in the sixth to tie it and Keiner Delgado walked with the bases loaded to give Altoona the lead.
Delgado lead off the game with a home run to right and finished with two hits, two RBI and two runs scored.
Johanfran Garcia hit an infield single to drive in rehabbing Red Sox infielder Nick Sogard in the bottom of the first and Jack Winnay gave Portland the lead with a solo home run to left in the fourth. Sogard, who was placed on the injured list with an oblique injury, went 1 for 2 with a walk.
Brooks Brannon homered in the sixth for Portland.
