Orono, Maine – Maine native and Dallas Mavericks star Cooper Flagg unveiled a new collaborative logo with New Balance on Thursday, marking the culmination of nearly two years of partnership between the rookie sensation and the athletic brand.

The new logo features a stylized "CF" where the C is designed to resemble a pine tree, directly referencing Flagg's home state. The announcement video includes several visually striking nods to Maine, including footage of the basketball court at Nokomis Regional High School in Newport and a Maine license plate displaying "FL4GG."

Flagg, who was born and raised in Newport, Maine, attended Nokomis Regional High School for his freshman year of basketball before transferring to Montverde Academy in Florida. During his time at Nokomis, he led the Warriors to their first-ever Class A state championship in 2022 and earned the Gatorade Player of the Year award for Maine that same season.

Following his high school career, Flagg played two seasons at Montverde Academy before joining the Duke University basketball program for the 2022-23 season. He declared for the 2025 NBA Draft and was selected with the No. 1 overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks.

Last season, Flagg captured widespread acclaim by winning NBA Rookie of the Year honors, averaging 21 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game. The 6-foot-8 forward became the first Maverick to earn the award in franchise history.

Flagg's second NBA season begins on October 21 when Dallas faces the Houston Rockets.

The new logo will appear on all future collaborative product lines between Flagg and New Balance, cementing their ongoing partnership that began in 2024.
