A little later than expected, Fat Boy Drive-In in Brunswick will open this summer after online speculation about whether or not the roadside attraction would return for another season. A popular spot for burgers, sandwiches, frappes and more, the 1950s-style drive-in will open for the 2026 season on Friday, June 26, according to a Facebook message from the business. A “long, bitter winter” caused plumbing damage and set back the opening date this year, a representative of the business said. In previous years, it opened in May.
