I have two grown children who went to public school. I worked for the Oxford Hills School District for over a decade and now work at Bates College. I have seen the importance of a good education from the point of view of a parent, substitute teacher, special education secretary and now at Bates.

A major part of providing a quality education to our children is funding. As a parent, former educator and former school board member, Beth Bosworth knows this. In Augusta she will fight for the funding and support that our rural schools need and deserve. That is why I cast my vote for her to be Maine District 18’s next senator.
